I was laid off from On Deck today — just over two years after being let go from Uber — amidst, again, an uncertain economic climate.
Joining On Deck in February 2021 was one of the best decisions I could possibly have made. I’ve been lucky to work on a wide range of projects: writing our team documentation, analysing and visualising our data, expanding our presence globally, running multiple hiring processes and hosting dozens of events (& much more). I’ve also been fortunate to meet countless founders, investors and operators, with many that I now call close friends.
A special thank you to my wonderful manager Erika Batista for giving me the opportunity to be part of this wild ride!
I’m excited to open a new professional chapter later this year. Do reach out if you come across London-based / remote opportunities that might be a good fit for me (bonus points if those are in climate or healthcare)!
