¡He empezado en un nuevo puesto de Advisory Council Member at Harvard Business Review !
Last Tuesday, May 7th, I had the privilege of attending the "Leading with AI" seminar, an enriching event organized by the Harvard Business School and the Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard. It was an intensive day filled with insightful presentations, offering a platform to reconnect with peers from the Harvard Business Analytics Program and finally meet others in person whom I'd only known via Zoom.
Each session underscored the critical importance of embracing AI technology—a journey from which there is no turning back. Key takeaways from the seminar included: 🤝 AI as a Partner, Not a Replacement: AI is not here to replace us but to enhance our efficiency, adopt new skills and improve the quality of our routine tasks. 👀 Stay Curious: In this new era, the Spanish adage "La curiosidad mató al gato" (curiosity killed the cat) takes on a new twist. If we aren't curious and eager to learn and experiment, we risk becoming obsolete. 🧐 Challenges in AI for Healthcare: The deployment of AI in healthcare requires meticulous attention to data privacy, data quality, system integration, and data representation—ongoing issues that remain unresolved. 💪 Information is Power: It's not just about possessing vast amounts of information but about connecting the dots effectively. 👉 Reframing MVP: The concept of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) has evolved into the Minimum Value Product because AI's role is to add value. 👍 Ethical Use of AI: The possibilities with AI range from explaining jokes to creating songs. However, its use must be responsible.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to Professor Karim Lakhani, co-founder and chair of the Digital Data Design Institute at Harvard and co-founder of the Harvard Business Analytics Program, and his team for orchestrating this seminar. The event was attended by 1,000 people in person and over 4,000 participants online.
