Reflecting on an incredible week at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity after taking a few days to settle back into the day-to-day. Creative thinkers and doers coming together in one place is an experience I will never forget. I am so honored and humbled to have been able to attend and speak at the dentsu beach house for my first time at Cannes, but hopefully not my last.

First and foremost, please check out our panel on how dentsu's show, More Than That with Gia Peppers, drives equality and impact through branded storytelling here - https://lnkd.in/eBP8kRYa.

Some quick thoughts: ✨ I 100% packed too much and need to buy better shoes for next time! ✨ Women are incredible and we will change the world. ✨ As a South Asian in advertising, I am constantly the only Indian person in the room. Being at a global conference, I finally saw many people who looked like me - and it was a feeling I will never forget. I hope I can continue to support other South Asians in this industry for years to come and one day be as incredible as some of the folks I met last week. ✨ Be kind to everyone you meet and remember to lift as you climb, you never know who you will cross paths with again. ✨ Find a moment in the craziness to bring yourself some peace. Right before my panel, I escaped to the Pinterest Manifestival experience to make a bracelet and it is one of my favorite memories. ✨ So much time, effort, and money goes into an amazing week at Cannes - I would love to see more programming around impact and how we as advertisers can use the same resources to make the world a better place. ✨ This industry is HUGE and so much bigger than we realize. I can't wait to embrace more of it for years to come.

And lastly, a very special few that I must mention: Kim Mercer + Kimmy Fleishman - my +2s all week. I'm not sure what my first Cannes would have been like without you two, and I'm so happy I will never have to know. Thank you for being my confidants, my supporters, and my friends all week long, and for years to come.

Tara Moss + Paul Buranosky - the reasons I was able to attend and share the story of More Than That with Gia Peppers on a global stage. Thank you is not enough to express my gratitude.

Lela Coffey, Chesley Maddox-Dorsey, Josh Rahmani, Gia Peppers - I am so honored to have shared a stage with you all and am so proud of the work we've done on More Than That. I hope we get to share many stages together in the future - here's to $20 Million invested into Black-owned businesses by 2025.

Julia Petryk - so happy to have reconnected after our Future is Female win on your side of the world. Hoping we can continue to support each other on a global scale!

Hope everyone who attended last week has gotten some much needed rest + relaxation since we got home. Can't wait until next year! 🎉
