Highlights
What an incredible last six month after moving back to Denmark. Incredible busy - but with all good things - also incredible rewarding!
All ending up with a re-visit to Brussels and the Launch of the Climate Movers Database (https://lnkd.in/eghkwqJ4). A collaboration with Tech for Net Zero and IRIS Group ApS.
At DTU we have a mission to benefit society through the technical and natural sciences. Our scientist and students do this everyday by publishing new insights and coming up with new Innovative solutions to many societal challenges. Especially within the area of securing technical solutions to climate challenges we at DTU - Technical University of Denmark has a strong commitment and obligations towards the society.
With this database we identified more than 400 researchers across Europe who all work on different climate-solutions. This collaboration is created with the purpose to make it easier to identify the researchers which can help policy-makers, NGO´s, investors or start-ups to get the latest updates on technologies which are all relevant for the transition towards a more sustainable planet.
I want to thank Tobias Lechtenfeld, Julian Joswig, Frederik Stewart Gaardboe, Sigurd Gylstorff, Almaelisa Giovannucci Fernández for their true commitment to making this happen.
Furthermore I would send kudos toward Lars Eiermann, Minerva Elias Franquesa, Meghan Bader, Vangelis Tzimas for their time and visionary insights during our online launch last week.
At last also a thank to Maria Leis, Philipp Offenberg and Ann Mettler for their support on this Initiative
It is with great pleasure that we are launching the Climate Movers Database in Collaboration with Tech for Net Zero!
At DTU - Technical University of Denmark - we have a mission to contribute to society. Our researchers and students do this everyday by contributing with solutions to societal problems. But sometimes societal stakeholders also needs our researchers input to legislation, technology assessment, due-diligence, feedback on frameworks to understand the possibilities and pitfalls on climate relevant Technologies.
Therefor we have created a database where stakeholders can identify researchers across Europe who are high-level specialists within specific climate related technologies.
We are proud of launching - and you are welcome to join our roundtable where we discuss with thought leaders from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, Breakthrough Energy, TU Munich Venture Labs/ UnternehmerTUM and Tech for Net Zero about what access to technology-leaders means for the ability to deploy new technologies into the market!
