Highlights
Last fall, my favorite no-code platform, Bubble, hosted a meetup at a bar in Brooklyn.
I was excited to go, and am so glad I cancelled my other plans that night so I could attend.
I got to meet other passionate Bubblers like Paul Stenhouse, and loved connecting with members of Bubble's team, including co-founder Josh Haas.
But little did I know that my connection that night with Carly Blumenfeld would lead to a feature on what I've built at Axial using Bubble's technology!
A good reminder of what can happen when you just get yourself out of the door to go network, and also of the serendipity that can occur when a virtual business invests in opportunities for real live community.
I'm honored to be part of the showcase, and grateful for this small act of marketing partnership between two fantastic tech companies!
You know you’re reading the right book when you’re highlighting almost every line!
After a few recommendations by some people I really admire, I read The Art of Action by Stephen Bungay, & I’m so glad I did.
A must read if you’re interested in leadership & how organizations can best get things done.
Brilliant (even fun) source of lessons learned across multiple centuries - frameworks / practices you can bring into your work immediately.
