Siri Elverland is an experienced humanitarian and development professional with a focus on knowledge & learning, and programme & policy development.

She specializes in protection, human rights, and gender equality and has worked in emergency and recovery contexts in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, as well as at headquarters with NGOs and the UN.

Siri holds a Master's degree from Macquarie University, studied Broadcast Journalism and Communication at Volda University College (Hvo), and earned a Bachelor of Arts in German, Latin, and History from the University of Oslo (UiO).

Her professional experience includes roles such as Senior Advisor for Knowledge And Learning at Rainforest Foundation Norway, Senior Protection Specialist at Urban-A, and Global Protection Advisor for Field Operations at the Norwegian Refugee Council.

She has also worked as an Independent Consultant, Protection And Advocacy Advisor, and Protection Cluster Co-Coordinator at the Norwegian Refugee Council, as well as in various other positions in communication, advocacy, and journalism at organizations like FAO, United Nations OCHA, and Norwegian Refugee Council.
