---💙Humbled to share an update that Bo's treatment is now fully funded💙---

Sharing something deeply personal today, which I would think a million times before posting here, but I'd do it for Bo anyway. And I just hope you take a moment to read it, if our paths have ever crossed.

Every day, I get to be a part of changing lives at Watsi. It's a privilege I hold close to my heart. But today, I want to talk about Bo whom I met on my visit to our medical partner Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) in 2021.

Bo had just gone through something really tough - his arm had to be amputated because of cancer. And just when we were getting ready to meet him - we found out he had COVID-19. But you know what? Bo's strength was incredible. He didn't let anything bring him down. Those 20 minutes I spent with him taught me so much about being strong. We were almost canceling our trip to him because of the situation, but I'm so glad we didn't. When we arrived, Bo was super excited to see us. He put on a Watsi cap and quickly changed into our T-shirt just to meet us! Bo's smile and spirit left an impression that has stayed with me ever since. We even decided to share his story with our community - https://lnkd.in/etjaNcb3

But today, in the midst of my usual work routine, an update came in and it really hit me hard - Bo's cancer has returned, spreading to his lungs. Imagine a 10th grader with dreams of becoming a policeman one day - it's just so unfair!

If you've ever known me, I ask you to join me in supporting Bo's treatment. Share his story, comment, like, donate - do whatever you can – because Bo's belief in a caring world deserves to stay intact through every step of his journey.
