Sonny holds a Master's degree in MSECE, Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University. He has also completed Executive Management programs at Gartner Academy for Leadership Development and the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, specializing in Innovation Management.

Throughout his career, Sonny has held key leadership roles in renowned organizations such as Deep Water Point & Associates, Govly, Unqork, GSA, Box, and L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. He has served in various capacities ranging from Chief Information Officer to Strategic Advisor, showcasing his versatile skill set and strategic acumen.

In addition to his professional commitments, Sonny has also shared his knowledge and expertise as an Adjunct Instructor at Stratford University, demonstrating his dedication to education and mentorship. His early experience at IBM in roles like Senior Software Engineer and Firmware Test Lab Manager reflects his strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills.
