Sophie Engle is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of San Francisco. She received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2010.14 Her research interests include data visualization and computer science education.1 She is a co-founder of the Visualization and Graphics Lab (VGL) and serves on the steering committee for the Symposium on Visualization for Cyber Security (VizSec).1
