Highlights
The past few weeks I've been working on a stand up jet ski cart, that converts to a hitch hauler. This would allow a user to transport the ski from the garage to the beach without heaving a 300lb jet ski around from cart to trailer to cart and back again. Flat pack, user assembled from only laser cut/bent parts and tubing. Also can transport the largest yeti cooler as well and bring it onto the beach with you! Electric drive will be added this week as well. Hoping to start testing next week on the 2nd prototype!
Currently the market has a few attempts to solve this problem, but they are VERY expensive. On a budget, a jet ski hitch hauler costs around $450, and a beach cart starts at $850; however when this combo is used, the ski must be transferred from garage cart, to hitch hauler, to beach cart, then reversing the order!
I'm currently shooting for a $1200 MSRP or less, and the process to go from garage to beach and back again will be usable by even individuals that can't move a jet ski by themselves normally; especially with the electric option that will increase the price by only $400.
Let me know your thoughts on this project!
