Operations & Partnerships at Bunches: working at the intersection of web3, communities and the creator economy

Entrepreneur, executive, advisor in tech. Operations, revenue & strategic partnerships leader: ☛ web3; ☛ the creator economy (talent, NFTs/tokens, communities, monetization, marketplaces, tools); ☛ digital media; ☛ subscription/e-comm marketplaces; ☛ B2B SaaS; ☛ fintech ▪ Lead teams driving user/rev growth: EVP Media & Partnerships, IPSY (2015-2019: 3X rev to $500M+) ▪ Scale digital start-ups and own revenue: COO Kin; EVP Sales/BD Launch (from early stage to IPO) ▪ Fundraising/M&A/IPO: leadership roles in 40+ processes; experienced on both sides of table ▪ Advise VC/PE groups during investment process, as well as post-investment portfolio company ops support

Approach: Build healthy high-performing teams, align them around select priorities that truly drive business, then execute with urgency and velocity needed for growth. Next to product-market fit (is your sales team crushing it? if not you likely don’t have product-market fit), there are a few principles that drive growth (shout out to Frank Slootman): ☛☛ People: get ‘the right people on the bus’, and the wrong people off. The latter is as important as the former…we usually know early, not in months. Leaders embrace healthy conflict and swiftly make decisions to create amazing teams ☛☛ Focus: Align your org around a few priorities. If you have one unifying priority you will get it done - if you have many 'good priorities’ you will get none of them done. 'Good is the enemy of great' ☛☛ Velocity: Create a culture of urgency - increase the velocity of impact (push teams out of comfort zones): the right people will respond - it pulls teams together and creates purpose and contagious energy; the wrong people won't respond (see ‘People’ above)
