Sriram Subramanian is a distinguished individual with a robust background in Human-Computer Interaction, focusing on areas like Acoustic wavefront manipulation, Metamaterials, Acoustic Levitation, User-interface design, Input Technologies, and Mid-air Haptics.

He completed his education with a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from Eindhoven University of Technology, an M.Engg. in Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and a B.Sc. in Physics from Loyola College.

Sriram Subramanian has held various esteemed positions including being a Professor at UCL, a Co-Founder at Metasonixx Ltd, the Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies at Royal Academy of Engineering, a Visiting Professor at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and a Visiting Professor at Stanford University.

He has also contributed to the academic community as a Professor at University of Sussex, a Young Scientist at World Economic Forum, a Co-founder and Director at Ultrahaptics, an Adjunct Faculty at University of Manitoba in the Department of Computer Science, a Visiting Researcher at HP, a Reader at University of Bristol, a Senior Scientist at Philips Research, and a Visiting Researcher at Osaka University, Japan.
