Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: SEO Certification from HubSpot Academy! I've been taking advantage of all this #unemployed free time to #upskill on HubSpot Academy and just completed this SEO certification 😎
I highly recommend HubSpot's free courses. I'm learning so much!

I've been #unemployed for almost four months now. But I refuse to let that be the reason I compromise on my #values and #boundaries. Let me tell you about what sparked this post...
On Friday afternoon, I had an interview with a #fintech company that asked me to complete a writing exercise as part of the process. The perfect chance to show off my skills, right? Well, since they're in such a hurry to fill this position, they asked me to write an article and turn it in within 24 hours. A Friday night to a Saturday night.
Even if framed as an exception, allowing them to push into my weekend before being hired is setting a BAD precedent. If they're asking this of me now, what will they ask of me when they're paying my salary? Do I really want to work for a company like this?
So, I responded accordingly. Honestly, I'm proud of sticking up for myself, but man, do I hope I can find a #copywriter position soon...
