5 sick days a year = 5 extra holidays? 🤔
If you have a sneaky feeling that’s what your team is doing... Then maybe it is 😅
I've been hearing this conversation more and more lately...
I've been fortunate to have enjoyed where I worked, or at least, I liked my manager and colleagues enough that I would consider the effect it would have on them if I didn't show up.
So #leaders, maybe it's time to take a closer look at what’s going on.
Are people just trying to game the system, or is there something about the workplace that’s making those sick days look way too tempting?
Instead of cracking down, consider creating a culture where people don’t feel like they need a “sick day vacation” to recharge.
Don’t give them reasons to take a break—give them reasons to stick around!
