Highlights
Had an incredible experience at the United Nations Environmental Programme’s Buildings and Climate Global Forum in Paris last week. It was amazing to finally meet face-to-face with so many passionate and like-minded individuals whom I've collaborated with over virtual calls for the past 5 years (you know who you are).
The global convening was the first of its kind, focusing on buildings and climate, and it was long overdue. My key takeaway from the event is that there is an urgent need for collaboration and alignment on the data and standards for embodied carbon accounting, globally.
Excited to share that I had the pleasure to announce two initiatives at the forum that focus on addressing this need and align with many of the 10 whole life cycle recommendations for the Buildings Breakthrough. Stay tuned for more specifics in a follow-up post!
