Stafford Shepherd is a seasoned solicitor with a wealth of experience dating back to his admission in 1987 after completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Queensland.

With a Master of Laws specializing in Commercial and Corporate law obtained in 2005, Stafford has continually enhanced his expertise.

His professional journey includes roles in private practice, partnership, and eventually transitioning to become an integral part of the Queensland Law Society's Ethics Guidance team.

In 2015, Stafford assumed the position of Director at the QLS Ethics Centre, overseeing the evolution and expansion of its services, now known as QLS Ethics and Practice Centre.

His current responsibilities entail providing crucial ethical and practice support to legal professionals, nurturing learning and development initiatives, and serving as the secretary to the QLS Ethics Committee.

Stafford's primary areas of interest lie in the equitable doctrines that form the foundations of legal ethics and practice support.

Education-wise, he completed his Senior Certificate at Brisbane Boys' College and pursued higher education degrees in Law from the University of Queensland, culminating in a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law.

His affiliations range from serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Queensland to various key roles at the Queensland Law Society, including Principal Ethics & Practice Counsel, Director of the Ethics Centre, and Senior Ethics Solicitor.
