From there, Starlee transitioned to more impactful roles that aligned with her passion for public service.
As a Development Intern at the American Society of Association Executives Foundation, she gained invaluable experience in fundraising and organizational growth strategies for nonprofits. Her knack for building relationships and her understanding of the intricacies involved in managing public affairs proved invaluable in this position.
Starlee's journey continued as she took on the role of Special Events Intern at Provo City Parks & Recreation, where she was responsible for coordinating community events that brought joy and activity to residents. This role allowed her to utilize her skills in project management and community engagement, aspects that she found truly fulfilling. Following this, she served as Supervisor & Mentor at Discovery Ranch for Girls, where she played a pivotal role in guiding and supporting young women through challenges and growth, reflecting her compassion and commitment to uplifting others.
In her role as Student Recruiter for the BYU Romney Institute of Public Management, Starlee utilized her communication and recruitment skills to engage potential students. Her drive to inspire others to pursue higher education in public administration epitomizes her dedication to service and community development.
Most recently, Starlee applied her skills and insights as a Management Intern for the City of Eagle Mountain. This position provided her with hands-on experience in municipal management and the opportunity to contribute directly to community-focused initiatives.
