Highlights
If you are a #softwaredefinedvehicles (SDV) geek 🤓 like me, have a look at this blog post (in two parts). I think it's one of the most advanced examples of SDV on the market: https://lnkd.in/d4dtQYDi , https://lnkd.in/dAFEq6td . It's the result of a collaboration between Amazon Web Services (AWS), dSPACE, and Elektrobit. The innovative element is that for the first time ECUs and HPCs are virtualized as cloud-native artifacts through different techniques (a Classic Autosar ECU is emulated through dSpace VEOS, while infotainment based on Android is executed natively on AWS Graviton Arm-based processors). Then, these artifacts are integrated with automotive networking (based on SOME/IP and Autosar from Elektrobit) and exercised / tested as a system.
A video with the demo is here -> https://lnkd.in/dv5fi8Ta.
Well done Fabian Bronner, Jérémy Dahan, Jerry Bonnah, Luke Harvey, and Moritz Schniedermann (& Igino Padovani) !
FYI, Andrea Ketzer, Wendy Curcuri Bauer, Francesco Salamida, Mahendra Muli, Bhaskar Dani, Keith Mulder, Paolo Hilario, Dr. Patrick Bartsch, Marc Solsona Palomar, Richard Elberger
If you are at the MathWorks Automotive Conference come and check out the software-defined vehicle demo we put together with MathWorks, Elektrobit, Synopsys Inc - all these tools integrate and use Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud to scale testing of virtual ECUs - including the networking components based on SOME/IP - in a mix of emulation and native execution of code.
