Stella Wang is the co-founder of QuantFood, a company that operates two restaurant brands in Singapore: Chengdu Bowl and NUMB Restaurant.15 She founded QuantFood in 2021 with her business partner Ma Jie, after quitting her job in banking to focus on the food and beverage industry.13

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Stella worked as an investment analyst at Credit Suisse and Nomura.2 She has a strong educational background and extensive experience in the finance and investment industry.

Stella's restaurants specialize in Chinese cuisine, particularly Sichuan food, with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Recently, her restaurant Chengdu Bowl introduced two new vegan dishes using Solein, a novel microbial protein, demonstrating her commitment to sustainable and future-oriented food practices.1

In addition to her work in the food industry, Stella remains engaged with her alma mater, the University of Bristol, participating in alumni activities.4 She has also given talks about her experiences in the F&B sector, including at the National University of Singapore.3
