Starting my day at Memorial University’s Industry Engagement Day with the Facilties of Engineering & Applied Science - very excited about the new data science program (with co-op) & Centre for Artificial Intelligence!
So appreciative of the chance to participate in Fortis Inc. Women in Executive Leadership Day! What a fantastic day and talented group of women!
As part of the innovation panel we had some fun with a little pitch contest. We each pitched what we thought was the best invention of the last decade. I pitched the Offline Glass. It only stands upright when balanced on your cellphone, ensuring you talk not text at the bar. I was bested by the air fryer, but had a great time! Uber put up a good fight as well.
A huge thank you to our local partner Additive XL who 3D printed the offline glass for me! 🙌🏻
