Highlights
We are conducting a research study to understand how women holding leadership positions make sense of their previous sport participation histories as they relate to their career success and leadership skills. While previous research has examined how men deploy their sport participation histories in work settings through managerial masculinities (e.g., talking sport, playing sport, and the use of sport metaphors), we know very little about how women may also draw on their sport experiences towards career success. If you are a woman holding a leadership position in corporate business, non-profit organizations, or sport organizations and participated in college sport, please consider participating in this study. Follow the link below to learn more about the study and express your participation interest (https://lnkd.in/gwSqhBT7).
Additionally, please feel free to share this posting with other women who may qualify for participation. This study is being conducted through the School of Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota. If you have any questions or wish to discuss the study further, please contact Dr. Vicki Schull ([email protected]). We will provide more information about the study before scheduling an interview.
We’re excited to have an internship position open this spring. There’s the potential for it to run into the fall as well.
