From 2014 to 2016, Stephanie served as the first Senior Advisor for Making at the White House, a remarkable role that placed her at the forefront of a national movement. There, she was instrumental in developing President Obama’s Nation of Makers initiative, an effort to democratize and broaden access to the Maker Movement across the United States. Her innovative leadership led to the organization of the first-ever White House Maker Faire, celebrating creativity and innovation among makers from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. Additionally, she planned the National Week of Making, further cementing her influence in this burgeoning field.
