Highlights
A new chapter unfolds!
In early March, Mark van Veenendaal and I followed our dream and made the big move to the United States. We leased our home, and I resigned from my position at Stichting De Verre Bergen. Opting to stay relatively close to our roots, we settled in the smallest state possible – specifically, the city of Providence in Rhode Island.
I am now on the hunt for new career opportunities, with a keen interest in continuing my work in the field of philanthropy, social impact investing and strategic giving. Additionally, I am open to exploring roles in project management, business development, and related fields. Starting April 1st, I am full-time available to commence a new role. It is worth noting that I am legally permitted to work in the US without sponsorship. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in meeting or if you can connect me with potential contacts.
Meanwhile, I would like to express my gratitude to my dedicated colleagues at SDVB for the enriching six years we shared. Working on our comprehensive, multi-year initiatives to address social issues in Rotterdam has been incredibly rewarding, and I am immensely proud of our accomplishments.
And for those wondering, yes, we did indeed bring our four bicycles with us to the US!

Niet iedereen heeft dezelfde kansen in het leven, en studeren kost geld. Via deze website kunnen aankomend studenten berekenen wat het kost om te studeren en inzien dat geld geen barrière hoeft te zijn.
