Reflecting on Airkit's first user conference in NYC, in partnership with RSM US LLP.

We hosted an incredible group of developers and execs from such companies as Accenture, Autodesk, Crawford & Company, Guardian Life, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, Google, Pacific Western Bank and others to discuss the future of enterprise application development.

Special thank you to Peter M. Brady and Uy Ut for leading the executive roundtable.

Alisha Lehr and Lauren (MacLean) Ladd, for sharing your perspectives on fostering innovation to meet customer expectations.

Jeff Whitehead for leading a discussion on how enterprises can speed up development with highly configurable front-end frameworks while driving down the cost of maintenance.

A few takeaways on the future of application development:

  • CIOs and technology leaders are leveraging composability to quickly respond to the requests to digitize business processes for consumers and employees
  • Modular architectures allow for enterprises to make the most of their existing technology investments and ship faster (weeks vs quarters/years)
  • Businesses are able to make existing teams smaller & more productive, remove the “bus” problem, and enable greater collaboration between IT, Eng, Design, BSA & Legal/Compliance

Special thanks to Airkit teammates: Adam Evans, Celia Wong, Frank Golden, Ismaen Aboubakare, Sandra Bustos, Zach Hawtof and Eliany Roman

Until the next one!
