On August 27th, we're lucky to have Ruth Schmidt, leading thinker on behavioral design and systems at the Institute of Design (ID), who will speak on leverage points in behavioral design for our next Bescy Behavioral Systems Group meeting!
The term 'leverage points' is familiar to systems theorists, but tends to emphasize system behavior over (even at the expense of) human behavior. While some tools — such as causal loop diagrams — are already in common use to address this oversight, taking a broader behavioral design perspective can help us develop new ways to systematically identify behavioral leverage points and choice conditions at a system level.
The event will be August 27th, 9am CDT (Chicago) / 10am EDT (New York) / 3pm BST (London) / 5pm EAT (Nairobi)
