Dear friends and colleagues,
I wanted to share some challenging news with you. Janeene, my amazing wife and mother to our two children, has recently been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and as you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for our family.
If you’re waiting for a sign to get that lump checked or are behind on your routine tests, please don’t wait any longer. Janeene went for her routine mammogram the week after she turned 40 years old and we are all shocked by the results and the biopsy that followed.
We are staying strong and focused on next steps as we meet with the surgeon on Wednesday, but we could use some support from our community. Our friend, Samantha, has graciously set up a Meal Train to help ease the daily burden and allow us to focus on Janeene’s health and well-being. We’ll also provide periodic updates via the Meal Train link.
If you are able and willing to contribute, whether it’s a meal, kind words, or just sharing the link, it would mean the world to us.
Here’s the link to our Meal Train: https://lnkd.in/gcGUVzHN
Thank you for your support, understanding, and kindness during this time. It truly makes a difference.
With gratitude,
Steve and Janeene
I was haunted by a ghost today. Someone had come to me with an urgent request. I dropped what I was doing and provided the data and analysis promptly. Apparently, they were just a ghost, because I haven't heard from them since.
Anyone else experience any spooky requests lately?
