Highlights
CASA will be featured in a forthcoming BEAM Exchange Webinar on Greening the MSD Approach on 23rd January. Register and tune in to hear Innocent Thindwa, our Malawi Country Intervention Manager discussing the approach CASA has taken with a particular partner business as an example, alongside The Canopy Lab and PRISMA Indonesia. CASA is fully financed by the UK's International Climate Finance (ICF) commitments so working to enhance smallholder resilience in the face of climate change is of the utmost importance.
Building on an earlier event in Nepal last year, Casa programme has been facilitating the Malawi Agribusiness Investment Meeting in Lilongwe today bringing SMEs in Poultry and Aquaculture together with Investors in a call to action particularly around climate change adaptation and financing. I was excited to be a keynote speaker, panellist, and provide closing remarks before handing over to AGRA for the (hopefully annual) Agribusiness Deal Room event in Malawi whereby selected SMEs get to pitch their investment needs directly to investors. for more news from this event see www.casaprogramme.com
