Steve Turner is an innovative and engaging special educator with a strong focus on program development, assistive computer technology, specialized instruction, and consultation in the areas of inclusion and diversity. He has a background in facilitating assessments and providing articulation services, particularly in vocational rehabilitation settings. Steve is well-versed in organizing and leading community meetings to enhance vocational service delivery for individuals facing barriers.

Steve's educational background includes a BA in Sociology and General Business from California State University, Fresno, and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University.

Throughout his career, Steve Turner has been involved in various roles and organizations, including founding and instructing at the innovative cognitive achievement network (ICAN) at Ventura College. He has also served as an Assistive Computer Technology Professor, Coordinator (interim), and Rehabilitation Counselor/Supervisor at Ventura County Community College District, as well as holding positions at the California Department of Rehabilitation and the California Department of Education as an Assessment/Behavioral Counselor.
