A month later, I am still amazed and thrilled by the news that Xpansiv Managed Solutions (SRECTrade) is now managing 100,000 systems across 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity. https://lnkd.in/gXjZvmDV

When I joined SRECTrade in 2010, we had less than 20 MW under management. In June 2013 (feels like yesterday), we hit 100 MW. I remember how big of a deal we thought this was at the time. Seeing the capacity increase 15-fold since then is unreal!

Ten years ago, in 2014, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take over as the CEO of the company. Thank you Brad Bowery, Kevin Quilliam, and Andy K. for your vote of confidence. We had a small, but mighty team then. A huge shout out to Eric Mooney, Lewis Wagner, Allyson Browne, Alex Sheets, Sam Rust, Thomas MacKenty, and our dedicated part-time team for trusting me to lead the ship.

If it wasn’t for such a committed and passionate team from then until now, I don’t think we would have made it this far (note: tons of people to be mentioned missing from this post!!!). We put a lot of trust and faith in each other, which led to some tremendous outcomes. When Allyson sent her farewell email in January 2018, she shared the following quote: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” It rang true then and even more so today.

Thank you to all our clients and partners that entrusted us along the way. Without you, we wouldn't have much of a business. Cheers to Janet Mihalyfi for taking over the helm and leading what continues to be an amazing and awesome team. Y’all keep trusting each other and stay committed to crushing carbon. Can’t wait to keep watching SRECTrade, Inc. and Xpansiv from the sidelines…you are doing some very important work!
