For years my job gave me stability, comfort and was part of me. And then, it wasn't. 💔
However, I refused to let this define me. I embarked on a path of self-reflection and healing, seeking guidance from a career coach, and asking myself some tough questions. It became clear that relying on another full-time position wouldn't guarantee job security. If my long-standing tenure could be severed overnight (well over my morning coffee but you get the idea), anyone else's could too. This realization resonated with many others I connected with, both inside and outside the tech industry. We're all in this together. 🤝
Let's address the elephant in the room: the economy. It's not just a looming recession; it's here, and people are losing jobs left and right. But amid the chaos, something incredible is happening. People like me are discovering a newfound passion for their own work and taking ownership of their careers. 💪 💼
