UCL spinout company, Advanced Design Technology Ltd (‘ADT’) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary at its upcoming User Group Meeting to be held at the Oracle Red Bull Racing Headquarters in Milton Keynes on the 15th & 16th November 2023.
ADT’s foundations were a research collaboration between UCL and Ebara Corporation which led to the development of a highly innovative inverse optimisation method of turbomachinery design. The software tools that ADT have developed based on the inverse design method have been proven to shorten the development time and improve the performance of turbomachinery components across application areas ranging from compressors, pumps and turbines.
Prof. Mehrdad Zangeneh’s drive and commitment to build ADT into a company which has a corporate customer list including the likes of Red Bull and Daikin really is testament to the commitment to impact & translation of researchers within the Engineering faculty at UCL.
Looking forward to marking this important milestone for ADT in the weeks ahead and working with Mehrdad and colleagues to drive the company forward in order to achieve its next phase of growth.
