Steve Silverman is the founder and executive director of Flex Your Rights (Flex), a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization launched in 2002.12 He created Flex Your Rights with the mission of improving police oversight through citizen engagement and educating the public about their constitutional rights during encounters with law enforcement.12
