With a knack for building projects from the ground up, Steven thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, particularly excelling in startup settings. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Steven has lived in various cities globally, including Oxford, England, Cape Town, South Africa, Atlanta, Georgia, Washington, DC, Seoul, South Korea, and Bangkok, Thailand. As a first-generation college student and a Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar, he is dedicated to making a meaningful impact. Steven is also associated with the Clinton Global Initiative University Network.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, furthering his education with studies in Science, Ethics, and Society at the University of Oxford. He pursued his Master of Science in Global Affairs at Schwarzman Scholars and obtained a Schwarzman Scholar - Master's Degree in Management Science in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University.

His professional journey includes roles such as a Policy Fellow at the City of New York, Strategic Partnerships Manager, Operations Manager, and Content Strategist at The Tuesday Company, and a Venture For America Fellow. Additionally, Steven has gained valuable experience through positions such as a Public Policy Intern at the Center for American Progress and at Sonke Gender Justice's Policy Development and Advocacy Unit. He is actively engaged in assessing the global landscape of autonomous last-mile delivery as a Schwarzman Scholar.
