Stuart Bearhop

Associate Dean for Internationalisation & Development

Stuart Bearhop is an accomplished Animal Ecologist with a diverse background in research, specializing in understanding intra-population variation in behaviors such as foraging, migration, and dispersal.

His research interests extend to the application of stable isotope techniques in ecology, showcasing his expertise in developing innovative methodologies.

Having completed a BSc Hons First Class in Zoology followed by a PhD in Environmental & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Glasgow, Stuart Bearhop possesses a strong educational foundation.

Currently serving as a Professor of Animal Ecology at the University of Exeter, Stuart has previously held positions as a Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast and as an NERC Independent Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow.
