Su-Yen Wong, also known as 黄素燕, is a prominent figure in the corporate world, serving as the first female chairperson of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

With over 15 years of experience as an independent director, Su-Yen has held board positions in various organizations across the globe, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, and the United States.

Currently, she holds the Chair position at James Cook University Singapore and serves as an Independent Director at Yoma Strategic Holdings, First Resources, CSE Global, and the Infocomm Media Development Authority.

Recognized for her expertise, Su-Yen was named one of the Financial Times' Top 100 Board Candidates With Pay-Setting Skills, the only individual in Asia to receive this honor.

As a seasoned professional speaker, Su-Yen has addressed audiences worldwide, engaging with CEOs, government officials, entrepreneurs, and educators on topics related to the future of work and organizational dynamics.

In academia, Su-Yen is an Adjunct Professor of Global Leadership at the National University of Singapore and a member of the Executive Education Faculty at Duke University, delivering lectures at prestigious institutions globally.

Known for her strategic insights at the intersection of technology, strategy, and human capital, Su-Yen has provided guidance to major corporations worldwide.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Su-Yen is an adventurous traveler, having explored remote corners of the world like Antarctica and Timbuktu. She is also passionate about travel photography and has a background in music.
