Suhail Kassim

Suhail Kassim, with over 15 years of experience at the World Bank Group, has been instrumental in leading financing projects and advisory mandates aimed at enhancing the private sector and financial sector in emerging economies and conflict zones. Apart from his professional endeavors, Suhail is dedicated to advocating for child rights and actively volunteers in this domain. His educational background includes an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as an Institute Merit Scholar in 2003, a PG Diploma in Child Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, and participation in various leadership programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and The London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani and achieved an All India Rank 7th in Grade 12 while studying Science at St. James' School (Kolkata). Throughout his career, Suhail has held significant roles such as Senior Economist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice at The World Bank, served in strategic initiatives within the CEO's Office, provided advisory services at MIT D-Lab, and contributed to the Competitive Industries Global Practice. Prior to his tenure at the World Bank, he was involved in programs like the Tata Group Leadership Program at TAS, worked as an MBA Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan, and gained experience as a VLSI Design Engineer at Analog Devices.
