Highlights
After seven tremendous years, it is time for me to bid farewell to Cox Communications.
I have rarely seen a company that has more soul, care, and genuine respect for its people and the communities it serves. I’ve met great friends, worked with incredibly talented and smart people, learned a lot, and had fun along the way.
To all my Cox colleagues, it’s been an honor to work by your side. Be it charting the path through uncertain times for our industry, cultivating new businesses in nascent markets, or serving our clients in a transforming media landscape – I am proud of the work we have done together. I am certain that your greatest days are ahead of you. Thanks for letting me be a small part of your journey.
I will always be grateful to Alex Taylor, Pat Esser, and Mark Greatrex for bringing me into the company and trusting me. My teams and I were able to accomplish such amazing things because of your unwavering support. Thank you.
I intend to take a sabbatical – I am excited about where this journey of discovery will take me. I would welcome the chance to reconnect with many of you!
What a shot in the arm to spend time with my residential sales colleagues this week at their Momentum sales conference. It felt like a family reunion! Our teams are charged up and ready to serve our customers. Congrats to Sheila Hicks and her outstanding leadership team for an inspirational event, and thank you to Vickie Rodgers - our visionary leader of Cox Communities - for allowing me to share the stage to talk about our connected future.
