NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY Dept. of Theatre seeks a full-time Technical Director/Scene Shop & Theatre Facilities Manager to begin July 1, 2023. The Manager, under the general supervision of the Chair, is the primary director of the Scene Shop, facilities, and department technical director. This position supervises the scene shop, house management, associated budgets, the production calendar, student workers, coordinates rentals, manages room reservations, and collaboratively works with faculty/staff to assure the delivery of successful productions. This position teaches our core curriculum course, TH123: Stagecraft, and manages the related lab TH113. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in related field, 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination. Preferred qualifications: BA, BFA or MFA in Theatre Technology or other related field, with 3 years professional experience in Technical Direction. Salary commensurate with qualifications and required experience, begins at $53,769.00.
