Highlights
Recent excellent work and posts by Toni Blackman and Nancy Lyons (check their feeds!) have me thinking a lot about this panel we did at Giant Steps 2016, called "Be Unabashedly, Unapologetically Yourself".
Toni, Nancy, Jana Shortal, Gary Hines shared inspiring insights on the topic, under the expert moderating of Levi Weinhagen.
Essentially, every panel at Giant Steps was about this topic--directly or indirectly. I feel so lucky to have learned from the 250+ people who got on our stage and shared themselves and their experiences in conversation--while being weird, funny, generous, vulnerable, insightful, challenging, and visionary. AND so passionate--not just passionate about what they do, but especially about HOW they do what they do.
The convo is about an hour, but if you have the time to listen/watch, it's definitely worth it.
(The overall theme of Giant Steps in 2016 was The Ripple Effects of Prince--and this was the lead-off panel, because really, who better to mentor all of us on being unapologetically, unabashedly yourself in how you do your work than Prince? 💜)
