Highlights
Today, I was so honored to accept a PRNEWS Top Women of PR Changemaker Award. During my time at Primerica, I have received tremendous support and encouragement from so many great leaders. Kathryn Kieser tops this list. Her leadership has taught me so much and allowed me to achieve so many things professionally, including the ideation and launch of our Household Budget Index (household budgetindex.com). This is a piece of work I am tremendously proud of and the recognition of it means a great deal.
Special shoutout to Gana Ahn Oh for the nomination and her support for so many years! And thank you to Amy Crews Cutts our brilliant economist who made the index a reality.
Last week, we launched the Primerica Household Budget Index™ (HBI™) a new way to understand the purchasing power of middle-income families. Developed in partnership with our amazing economic consultant Amy Crews Cutts, the index presents a more refined way of understanding how families are faring in the current economy.
It was a large and complex initiative, but the end result is a thought leadership play that will differentiate Primerica from its competitors. There is nothing else like it.
What an incredible experience to have been part of this effort. During my 20+ career in public relations, I have celebrated many milestones and successes, but the introduction of this index has got to be one of the highlights. I know it will change the way reporters and other influencers look at the impact inflation is having on middle-income families. It will make a difference.
