There, she specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and strategic advice for a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500, middle-market, and emerging growth companies. Some of her notable clients included CME Group, Sara Lee Corporation, and Amicus Therapeutics.1
Hassan has served as an invited lecturer on corporate transactions at Harvard Law School and the University of Chicago Law School. In 2009, she was named a Henry Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.1
Hassan is also actively involved in philanthropic and non-profit work. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of CARE, one of the world's largest and oldest poverty relief organizations. In the past, she has held leadership positions on the boards of various organizations, including Equality Now, The Clean Energy Trust, the Women's Sports Foundation, and the Chicago Public Library.3
