With a background in education, Susan dedicated 22 years to developing and supporting educational outreach initiatives for K-12 students at Harvard University in Boston. She oversaw the practice of communication and teaching skills among Harvard students, emphasizing the value of impactful educational programming for the community.

Prior to her tenure at Harvard, Susan taught high school biology and worked as an Associate Producer on science television programs for PBS.

Her educational qualifications include an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.S. in Biology and Society from Cornell University. Susan has also pursued additional studies at various institutions including Code.org, EdTech Teacher Workshops at Framingham State College, Project WET Educator Training, and art programs at the Concord Umbrella Center for the Arts, Art Students League of NY, and workshops with Kat O'Connor.
