Highlights
Update time! Most in my network know about my last book, I Am Not A Tractor! How Florida Farmworkers Took on the Fast-Food Giants and Won. Harvard Law School's Clean Slate for Worker Power center just published my article that both updates and broadens my earlier book. The article focuses on Worker-driven Social Responsibility as the only demonstrably effective approach for protecting workers' human rights. WSR is now in use across a range of sectors (garment manufacturing, fishing, dairy....as well as agriculture) and has been evaluated and recognized by the U.S. government, United Nations, and a series of independent non-profits (OXFAM, MSI Integrity....) as the only program that actually works. So, want to know what Worker-driven Social Responsibility is, how it works, and the results? Read this article and the world is yours. #labor #laborrights #wsr #fairfood #workersrights #socialresponsibility #CIW
