Suzanne Kelson

Suzanne Kelson is an aquatic ecologist with a strong dedication to conservation, specializing in researching the life history decisions of native salmonid fish in coastal California streams.

Her expertise lies in using methods like genetics, PIT-tagging, mark-recapture, and field sampling to gain insights into the migration patterns of native trout.

Suzanne has a B.A. in Biology with a focus on Ecology from Dartmouth College and has done postdoctoral research at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Prior to her current roles, she was a PHD student at the University of California, Berkeley, a research assistant at Dartmouth College, a fisheries biologist at NOAA, and a student at Dartmouth College.
