On the 105th anniversary of Afghanistan's independence from the United Kingdom in 1919, I find myself reflecting on the journey our nation has taken. As a young citizen of this country, I don't have grand wishes or speeches to offer. Instead, I want to share a message with my fellow young Afghans: don't let counting your success make you forget your progress. Success is important, but it's the progress we make the learning, the growth, the small steps forward that truly defines us. As we continue to build our future, I urge each of you to prioritize education. Educate yourself, learn, learn, and learn. It is through knowledge and understanding that we can truly honor our past and shape a brighter future for Afghanistan. I will only celebrate this day when my sisters return to schools, universities, work, and have their basic rights restored. We have not yet achieved it!

Graphite vs. Graphene:

• Graphite: Multiple layers of carbon atoms stacked together.

• Graphene: A single layer of carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice.

Graphene vs. Carbon Nanotubes:

• Graphene: Flat, two-dimensional sheet of carbon atoms.

• Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs): Cylindrical structures made by rolling graphene sheets. SWCNTs are single graphene sheets rolled into tubes.

Terminology:

• Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are sometimes called graphene nanotubes, but the term SWCNT is more common.
