Taavi Madiberk is the CEO & Co-Founder of Skeleton Technologies, a Global Cleantech 100 company and a global leader in high-power, fast-charging energy storage for transportation, grid, automotive, and industrial applications.

Skeleton Technologies collaborates with major global companies in various industries, such as automotive, grid solutions, industrial equipment, heavy-duty fleet, and aerospace.

The company's supercapacitors and SuperBattery technology aim to reduce CO2 emissions, enhance power quality, and promote electrification in hard-to-decarbonize sectors.

Skeleton Technologies is instrumental in Europe's strategic autonomy as the sole European battery company producing energy storage devices and raw materials sourced from Europe. The company has received accolades such as the European Inventor of the Year Award in 2022.

With over 300 employees, Skeleton Technologies has established itself in Tallinn, Großröhrsdorf, Bitterfeld-Wolfen, and will soon have the world's largest supercapacitor factory in Markranstädt, in addition to offices in Finland and France.

Taavi Madiberk co-founded Skeleton Technologies at the age of 21 and has raised over 300 M EUR from investors like Marubeni Corporation and Innoenergy. Notable customers include Siemens, GE, CAF, Skoda Electric, and Honda.

Apart from his role at Skeleton Technologies, Taavi is an EIC Board Member and a member of the EU-Japan Business Roundtable.

Before founding Skeleton, Taavi held leadership positions at Estonian Railways Ltd and RKAS, focusing on restructuring, strategic planning, and cost-cutting initiatives.

Taavi has a background in Law, studying at the University of Tartu and Tallinna Reaalkool, and has been associated with organizations like Stargate Hydrogen, European Innovation Council, SMEs Executive Agency, OÜ Venture22, and various supervisory and executive roles at Estonian Railways Ltd and other entities.
