Tafadzwa Matika is a dedicated public health professional with a strong focus on contributing to the advancement of healthcare systems in Africa. With a background in research on HIV and Diabetes in the United States and Zimbabwe, Tafadzwa has honed his expertise in the field. His most recent experience involves working for a multinational non-profit organization that collaborates with governments to enhance healthcare systems and drive impactful change. Tafadzwa is enthusiastic about utilizing his diverse experiences to make a meaningful difference in healthcare across Africa.

Tafadzwa's academic journey includes earning a Master of Science in International Health and Tropical Medicine with a focus on Public Health from the University of Oxford. Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) with concentrations in Nutrition Sciences and Chemistry, graduating with Distinction and Highest Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic achievements also include excelling in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry during his A' Levels at the African Leadership Academy, and studying at Duke University.

Throughout his career, Tafadzwa Matika has held various roles in reputable organizations. He was a Senior Program Coordinator and a Program Coordinator at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc., where he played crucial roles in healthcare initiatives. Additionally, he served as a Research Fellow at the Trinity Fellows Academy and gained research experience as a Research Assistant in the Beth Mayer-Davis Research Group at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Tafadzwa also contributed to research efforts as a Research Intern at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard, specifically at the Ragon-Parirenyatwa Clinic. He further expanded his skill set through a Business Analysis Internship at the Center for Employment Opportunities.
