Highlights
I can't think of a greater honor for a company than to receive an award from their customers.
The BUILDING OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA INC presented Acta Solutions with the Will Turrentine Award in recognition of outstanding support of BOASC.
Eternal gratitude to BOASC for the recognition and years of partnership.
Pavani Peri and I were beyond touched when Ruthie Helms announced Acta as the recipient. See y'all next year in Myrtle Beach!
Brought home the hardware for the squad.

I’m considered a pretty outgoing person...
So I’ve always prioritized relationship building in my roles.
But I recently learned this is draining the life outta me:
I took the Core Values Index Assessment and learned I was a Builder-Innovator.
I like to get shit done.
No surprises there.
The surprise came in how low my Merchant value was.
The superpower of the Merchant is building relationships.
They thrive off of talking and listening and connecting with others.
Most people would say that’s my natural strength.
So I’ve centered most of my professional roles in life around Merchant activities.
But whenever your value in an area is low, it means activities in that area drain you.
This means that I’ve crafted so much of my life around activities that are actively draining me.
Instead, I should be focusing my time on activities that naturally give me energy.
Activities related to deciding and doing are what naturally energize me.
The core lesson here is not to let the perception of others shape your self-perception.
S/o to Lebone C. Moses for the amazing coaching and insights!!!
I’ll be focused on doing a whole lot more than talking going forward. If you enjoyed this:
