With a background as a Director in the aviation and aerospace industry, Taiwo brings a unique perspective to his creative and educational pursuits.

Taiwo is a former Associate Professor at the University of Regina and a Canada Research Chair in Socially Engaged Theatre, showcasing his expertise in academic and research roles.

He has held key positions such as Director at the Centre for Socially Engaged Theatre and Artistic Director at Theatre Emissary International, reflecting his leadership and management skills in the theatre industry.

Additionally, Taiwo has been part of organizations like Green Africa, Belfry Theatre, and University of Victoria, where he contributed as Co-Founder, Community and Artistic Manager, and Sessional Instructor, respectively.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Theatre from the University of Victoria, a Master's degree in Applied Theatre/Arts Management from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and Bachelor's and Diploma degrees in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Jos.
