Now, let's rewind...
Two years ago, I embarked on a somewhat crazy journey. I took on the role of CEO in a field entirely unfamiliar to me.
Why? Well, the primary reason was the people—working alongside David Silver, a longtime admiration of mine was a dream come true. Collaborating with other exceptionally talented individuals, such as Yael Gold Zamir, Shahar Rosentraub and Alex Bronstein.
The other appeal for me was the company’s mission.
The idea that I can influence the lives of so many women and couples struggling with fertility issues, increasing their chances of having a child was something I couldn’t resist.
It was a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
One day, we were soaring after securing a major contract with a fertility clinic chain, thanks to the relentless efforts of Karan Kalra, or achieving another milestone with a publication led by Ilan Tur-Kaspa, MD and Talia Aviram.
The next day, we faced setbacks, whether it was a rejection from a prominent VC or falling short of the efficacy targets for a new product.
I learned that doing good is not enough. Monetization is key. Validation is key. KOL’s are key. Talent is key. Knowing your field inside out is key.
I want to extend my best wishes to the R&D team, who have found a new home to continue their growth.
I am confident that under Rhea's guidance, Embryonics' products will play a pivotal role in helping millions of couples worldwide realize their dream of having a child.
And thanks to all that were involved and gave their heart and soul to this mission.
